Tim Kang is the principal engineer for Imaging Applications at Aputure. He also serves as the chair for the Lighting Committee, ASC Motion Imaging Technology Council. Tim holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute Conservatory. He is an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers, and a member of IATSE local 728.

Tim uses the INFINIBARs to create various soft-light shapes to key and fill the subject while running a video file on the virtual production software, Assimilate Live FX. Watch Tim demonstrate how to achieve realistic lighting through this simple workflow.
